Georgia Lockwood Estrin

Georgia is a Sir Henry Wellcome Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Birkbeck College, University of London. She's currently focused on how developmental neuroscience and public health can work together: specifically, on how to improve identification of children with developmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder, in low-resource settings. Her PhD, from Imperial College London and King’s College London, investigated the neurodevelopment of infants at risk of developmental disorders. As well as neurodevelopment, Georgia's research interests at the moment are global mental health, women’s mental health and neuro-ethics.
